Gas fill measurement devices contain parts that wear over time, and measurement accuracy declines when these are not serviced. Sparklike’s analysis of 25 Sparklike Handheld™ devices showed a clear improvement in accuracy and precision after maintenance and re-calibration.
The data also shows how quickly accuracy drops without service. A device that has not been serviced for 12 to 18 months can lose around 50% of its measurement accuracy. When calibration is overdue by 24 months, the loss can reach 100%.
