Laser Portable 2.0 lasts for 2–3 hours and with later Laser Portable models it lasts for 4-6 hours. The device is automatically charged once connected to electricity.
The lifetime of the Lithium battery is good; after 2000 cycles the battery still has 80,1% of its maximum capacity left.
